This 2 3/8" OD stamped steel swing hanger is built with a 7.75" circumference, a .51 ID oil light bearing, and an axle bolt with lock tight nut. It accepts a 12mm bolt and is sold as each.
The stamped steel construction has more ability to bend, helping prevent snapping when torqued too tightly. The lower half includes a figure eight pendulum with a sintered bronze bearing to reduce wear.
The bronze bearing is impregnated with oil, so the bearings do not have to be oiled. The pendulum is 1" wide and fully closed so the connecting S-hook or shackle cannot be dislodged from the hanger.
The two halves are bolted together with a 12mm carriage bolt with a hex lock tight nut. The pendulum is held with a #12 axle bolt with a long shoulder so the bearing does not ride on the threads. Do not torque more than 25ft-lbs. when installing. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Tensile strength is 9200 lbs.
