The 24X40x8 Rectangle Four Post Hip Shade is an iconic outdoor shade structure designed for play, picnic, recreation, and other areas that need relief from the sun.
It measures 24' x 40' and stands 8' H at the edge and 10'4" H at the inside peak. The non porous polyethylene fabric helps heat escape, the fabric is colorfast and blocks damaging UV rays, and the water repellent canopy is designed to withstand high winds of 105 mph with the canopy on and 150 mph with the canopy off.
Posts and ribs are fully primed and finished with a multi step powder coating process. Glide elbows are included for quick and secure fabric installation and removal with a cordless drill or wrench. Choose inground or surface mount, and note that additional color options are available upon request. It is strongly recommended that this structure be secured with reinforced concrete footings.
