It is 4/0 Aught and Grade 30 with a trivalent coating designed to resist rust, including use in coastal areas. The chain meets all ASTM requirements and has a consistent bright finish.
Key details include links that are 1” long and ½” wide opening, tensile strength of 3200 lbs, and compatibility with any of Jensen's S-hooks or shackles. Sold by the pail of 250 feet.
The trivalent coating project improved salt spray testing per ASTM B117 to 120+ hours to white rust, and the chain meets ASTM B633 Fe/Zn 5 Type III requirements.
