This 4 1/2" Aluminum Fan Basketball System is a heavy-duty outdoor basketball setup built for a 4 1/2" pole.
It features a 4½" O.D. galvanized gooseneck pole with a 48'' safe play area for added safety when driving in for the score. For additional strength, the pole needs to be buried 36" in the ground. Heavy-duty 1-5/8" diameter braces support the backboard and are held together with zinc plated hardware.
The backboard is a 35-½" x 54" fan-shaped board made of durable, rust-free aluminum with heavy support ribs, a white powder coated finish, and an orange shooter's square and border. The goal includes a 5/8" steel rim, -½'' braces, and continuous netlocks.
Optional pole padding can be added for increased player safety.
