The 42'' x 60'' Endurance Acrylic Playground Basketball System is built for outdoor courts that need strength, stability, and long-term play performance.
It features a square 6-inch steel inground post made of 1/4'' thick schedule 40 steel. The post, extension arm, and braces are galvanized first and then powder coated in black using Enduracoat technology.
The backboard is 42'' x 60'' and made from 3/8'' thick UV-resistant acrylic. It is designed to mimic professional glass systems while being lighter and more durable than a glass board. The breakaway rim uses 18'' diameter double rings with a unique 3/4'' top ring and 5/8'' bottom ring, plus a double spring flex mechanism. A nylon net is included and attaches with t-style net attachments for player hand protection and net security.
Padding is recommended for player safety and is not included. The system includes a safe play area of 4-foot and is recommended for NIRSA, recreation, and youth play.
