The 5 - 9/16" Mega Duty Perforated Steel System is a heavy-duty basketball system built for inner city play and demanding outdoor use.
It includes a 72" safe play area on a 5 9/16" hot dipped galvanized pole that needs to be buried 48" in the ground. The package features a 12 ga steel, perforated steel backboard package with rolled edges, a heavy duty steel rear framework, and a backboard size of 42" x 72".
The backboard is powder coated with orange border paint and shooter's square, and it comes with the Ultimate playground goal and net. The basketball goal is made from double 5/8" steel with no-fail netlocks and a 3/16" thick steel box type backplate. The goal mounts directly through the backboard and to the pole to virtually eliminate stress on the backboard when hanging occurs.
This system accepts chain nets and includes a 10 year limited warranty on the backboard and a lifetime unconditional replacement warranty on the goal. Add pole padding for the ultimate, mega system.
