The Adaptive Traverse Climbing Wall Package - 8' High is designed to help instructors include youth with special needs in climbing activities. Its smooth surface accepts dry-erase marks and magnets for learning support, while Adaptive Holds and color-coded Groperz Hand Holds add stability and variety.
Each 4'L section includes 20 Groperz Hand Holds and 6 adaptive hand/foot holds (4 grab-bars, 1 blue ledge, and 1 red ledge). The wall offers 66 preset placement options for mounting hand holds per 4 foot long panel section, and the Red-Relief Line helps climbers stay within 3 feet from the floor.
Included with each wall section are sentence building, word and math magnets, dry erase markers, the Adaptive Climbing Activity Guide, Adaptive Climbing Holds, Groperz Hand Holds, and the Red-Relief Line. Safety mats are constructed of polyethylene foam enclosed in an 18-oz polyester reinforced vinyl cover, and the mats Velcro together and attach to the base.
