This Adult Supervision Warning Label tells users and caregivers that the playground is not intended as a place for unsupervised play.
The label size is 2.75" x 2.75" and it is designed for indoor and outdoor use. It uses white PVC film with a high bond thick adhesive layer, is printed with UV ink, and is coated with a non-reflective UV mil Luster Lamination. It is ideal for metal and low energy plastic surfaces and applications requiring flexibility and a high bond adhesive.
This product meets all ASTM standards for playgrounds and references CPSC Sections 1.6, 2.2.7, and the ASTM #F1487 “Introduction” and Section 14.2.2. For best visibility, all labels must be placed so users and supervisors can see them from any direction they approach the playground.
For placement guidance, open playgrounds (non-fenced) can have labels placed on the equipment itself, such as in a triangulated configuration (6:00, 10:00, and 2:00 o'clock positions). For fenced-in playgrounds, most labels can be placed near or at the entry/entries on a freestanding post at adult eye level. Consider covering labels with clear hard plastic to prohibit vandalism and to help them stay on surfaces that may be difficult to stick to. Use round headed screws that are not sharp.
