PIP Cheat Sheet: It is recommended that you order 5%-10% overage on rubber and glue. A “Base” Primer may be desirable using a mixture of 50% Binder/50% Acetone. On edges and around posts where extra adhesion may be necessary, a more aggressive “Edge” Primer ratio of 80% Binder/20% Acetone can be used. PIP cannot be installed on dirt and requires a sub-base of concrete, asphalt, or properly compacted stone/gravel. As PIP is porous, proper drainage is essential.
