Fast Patch Blue-Black is a poured-in-place rubber surface repair kit for repairing the wear layer of poured-in-place surfacing.
Each kit includes pre-measured Blue and Black EPDM rubber and binder, or glue, plus an aliphatic binder. Aliphatic binders are UV stable, do not amber/yellow in the sun, and can be used around pools or splash pads.
Available sizes include Fast Patch Small, Fast Patch, and Fast Patch XL. Coverage is 3 sq ft at 1/2'' depth for Fast Patch Small, 6 sq ft at 1/2" depth for Fast Patch, and 12 sq ft at a depth of 1/2" for Fast Patch XL.
Use it for rubber playground surfaces, running tracks, construction or repair of transition ramps, and filling gaps between the sidewalk and playground surface. For deeper repairs in the safety zone, use base layer material and refer to CPSC Publication 325. You can also coat the repaired area with MaxxClear H2O surface conditioner to help stop further granular damage and make faded colors pop again.
