Fast Patch Yellow-Black is a poured-in-place rubber surface repair kit made for repairing the wear layer of poured-in-place surfacing.
Each kit contains pre-measured yellow EPDM rubber, black SBR rubber, and binder. All Fast Patch kits include an aliphatic binder, which is UV stable, not subject to ambering/yellowing, and suitable for use around pools or splash pads. Do not use aromatic binder, since it can amber/yellow in the sun and is not suitable for contact with chlorine.
Available sizes are Small, Fast Patch, and XL. Small repairs 3 sq ft at 1/2" depth, Fast Patch repairs 6 sq ft at 1/2" depth, and XL repairs 12 sq ft at a depth of 1/2". It is also useful for rubber playground surfaces, running tracks, transition ramps, and filling gaps between the sidewalk and playground surface.
General use includes cutting away the damaged section, cleaning loose rubber, mixing the binder with the pre-measured rubber, and troweling smooth into place. For deeper repairs in the safety zone, use the base layer material and refer to CPSC Publication 325.
