Fast Patch Purple Black is a poured-in-place surfacing repair kit for repairing the wear layer of poured-in-place surfacing.
Each kit contains pre-measured amounts of Purple EPDM rubber, Black SBR rubber, and aliphatic binder. Fast Patch kits are simple to use, have a shelf life of up to 2 years or more, and come in 3 sizes: Fast Patch Small repairs 3 sq ft of surfacing at 1/2'' depth, Fast Patch repairs 6 sq ft of surfacing at 1/2" depth, and Fast Patch XL repairs 12 sq ft at a depth of 1/2".
This repair kit is excellent for rubber playground surfaces, running tracks, construction or repair of transitions ramps, and filling gaps between the sidewalk and playground surface. It can also be used creatively for contrasting repairs, including custom shapes.
For safety surfacing guidance, if the repair is in the safety zone of the playground equipment and is deeper than 1/2", use the base layer material. Please refer to CPSC Publication 325 for guidance.
