This rotational molded tot swing seat is a commercial grade infant bucket swing seat made in USA and designed for one toddler, 2-3 years old.
It is made of polyethylene in bright colors that will not fade. Seat dimensions are 12” across, 11” front to back, with leg holes 6.5” in diameter. The front of the seat is 8” deep and the back is 14”. The width of the crotch band is 3.0”.
The seat is molded as a “double wall part” with 1.5” spacing between the walls for strength and rigidity. Perimeter walls-side, front and back are 1.25” apart. The seat bottom and back are at 90 degrees to each other with a transitional radius of 3.5” for comfort and strength. The angle between the front wall and the bottom is 7 degrees, placing the backrest at 7 degrees “off vertical” for an ergonomic position and reduced tipping-forward sensation.
Four 1” diameter molded-in holes in the seat bottom add strength and drainage. The leg holes are cut flush to the seat bottom and sides to help avoid restricting circulation in the child’s posterior thigh area. The seat perimeter frame includes four integrally molded mounting points, and the underside of each hole is counter-bored so the locking nuts that attach the hanger to the seat are fully encapsulated for safety and security.
