The Standard Traverse Climbing Wall is an economical traverse wall designed for elementary and middle school climbers. It features earth tones, a lightly textured surface, and height options in 8-foot or 10-foot sections.
Each 4' long panel section is made from 3/4'' plywood and coated with Groperz Tip Top Texture for a granite-like look and feel. The wall includes patented Groperz Route-Setting Hand Holds, 66 preset placement options for mounting hand holds, and the Red-Relief Line safety feature.
Color-coded Groperz Hand Holds give climbers different challenge levels: green is the largest and easiest to grip, yellow comes in a variety of sizes with a light challenge, and red is medium sized and provides the most challenge. Hand holds are mounted and removed through t-nuts with the included Allen wrench. Climber capacity is 1 climber per 4-foot long panel, and assembly is required.
Safety mats are recommended and use the patented Mat-Locking System to close and lock the wall when access needs to be restricted. Mats are constructed of polyethylene foam enclosed in an 18-oz polyester reinforced vinyl cover, come in 4'x6' sections, and are available in 2'' or 3'' thickness with Red or Royal Blue color options.
Variant options include 8'X4', 8'X20', 10'X4', and matching package combinations with 2'' or 3'' Red Mats or Blue Mats.
