Built for outdoor play, the Steel Rectangle 3 1/2" Basketball System features a durably 3½" O.D. galvanized gooseneck pole with a 36" safe play area.
For added strength, the pole needs to be buried 36" in the ground. Heavy-duty 1-5/8" diameter braces support the backboard and are held together with zinc plated hardware.
The backboard is a 39 x 54" rectangular board made of durable, rust-free aluminum with heavy support ribs, a white powder coated finish, and a perforated shooter’s square. The goal includes a 5/8" steel rim, ½” braces, and continuous netlocks. Optional pole padding can be added for increased player safety.
