The Tot Seat Warning Label is a 2.75" x 2.75" playground label designed to identify tot seats for use by children under 4 years of age, with adult assistance, as noted by CPSC guidance.
It is made for indoor and outdoor use with white PVC film, a high bond thick adhesive layer, UV ink printing, and a non-reflective UV mil Luster Lamination. The label is resistant to light and sunshine and is ideal for metal and low energy plastic surfaces, as well as applications requiring flexibility and high bond adhesive.
This warning label helps reduce wear and tear, breakage, misuse, and injuries from users who are too old to use the equipment. It meets all ASTM standards for playgrounds and references CPSC Sections 2.2.6, 2.2.7, and 5.3.8.3.2, as well as ASTM Standard #F1487 Section 14.2.1.
For placement guidance, labels should be visible from any direction of approach. In open playgrounds, they may be placed on the equipment itself, including a triangulated configuration at 6:00, 10:00, and 2:00 o'clock positions. For fenced-in playgrounds, most labels can be placed near or at the entry/entries on a freestanding post at adult eye level. Consider covering labels with clear hard plastic to help prevent vandalism and improve adhesion on difficult surfaces; use round headed screws that are not sharp.
