The TRIAX TOUCH A-Missile Tester System is the latest evolution of impact testing devices for playing surfaces, including football and soccer fields. It is fully compliant with ASTM F355 procedure A and F1936.
Designed with a top hat design for easier setup and transport, the system uses a precision-machined aluminum guide tube with a quick attach base plate to ensure the 24'' drop height. A sturdy manual release mechanism holds the missile until the operator pulls back on the knob, releasing it to impact the test surface.
The system measures impact attenuation of artificial and natural turf playing surfaces and includes a stainless steel impactor for accurate impact velocity measurement. It also includes a PC application for creating and archiving test reports, plus a dedicated handheld data unit that connects wirelessly to the head form and stores up to 1000 drop tests on the included standard memory card.
