The TRIAX Touch Tester System is a playground surface impact test system designed to measure shock (G) and head injury criteria (HIC) values.
It is fully compliant with American ASTM F1292 and many other standards. The TRIAX Touch Tripod provides accurate and repeatable fall heights, with standard legs accommodating fall heights of up to 12 feet. The manually operated tripod raises and locks the head form at the desired height without using a ladder or climbing on structures, and the electromagnet hold and release system helps prevent operator influence on the fall trajectory.
The dedicated handheld data unit connects wirelessly to the head form and collects and stores up to 1000 drop tests on the included standard memory card. The system also includes a PC application for creating and archiving test reports.
Variant options: E-Missile With Tripod and E-Missile Only - No Tripod. All systems must be calibrated every 2 years by the company, and this is an additional charge at that time.
